Praises and Testimonies
From Around the World!

We receive letters, emails, phone calls and face to face stories from people through out the world testifying to the move of God through His Holy Spirit and we are thankful to have the opportunity to share some of these with you. God is moving so powerfully in the people of His church in these end days and never have the fields been so ripe for harvest. God is moving on all of His servants to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world. The needs are great and the rewards for those who are faithful in obeying Him are beyond compare. It is our prayer that you will allow the Lord to touch your heart through these testimonies and that you will pray for your brothers and sisters everywhere who are in need and are spreading His Word.

Most of excerpts from these testimonies will be anonymous. This is because the authors have requested this, not wanting to take any glory unto themselves, or for the protection of the writers because many are in places where they would be in danger if their identity became known. Please join with us in joy, praise and prayer for all that God has done and is doing in His worldwide church.

We hope you will read all the letters.

Part 1: The Call of God - A personal testimony of a young man's salvation and deliverance from a miserable life of drug's and alcohol.

Part 2: The Refiner's Fire - The same man's great falling away from God, returning to the life he lived before, and God's mercy in drawing him back again to serve the Lord.

The Ukraine

A pastor in The Ukraine writes:
Here in Ukraine people are reaching out to God, but because of economical difficulties, unemployment and poverty they become fussy about the things and anxious about the troubles of life, and then they leave the church in order to find the job and solution of their problems themselves. But many of them, just on the contrary, because of the difficulties - come to the Lord. All guests from other countries, like missionaries and different ministers who came to visit us were surprised to see such zeal for God, such powerful prayers and faith of the Ukrainians. These ministers don't stay indifferent having visited Ukrainian churches. They leave having great thirst, fire in their spirit and desire to come back to Ukraine as soon as possible. They were astonished to experience God's power, His miracles and anointing of the Holy Spirit at the church services. The Ukrainian people are very hospitable, even when it is difficult for them they love to receive guests and to have fellowship. That's why you won't regret coming to us. Please pray so that you would be guided & directed by God & please know that I and our church is waiting for you. Jesus come back. Amen, amen, amen!!!
Here in Odessa region (our region is the biggest region in Ukraine) there is no any mission ministers & Christians organizations. Here is the huge space for the God’s work. So my friends, I trust that you will pray about coming in Ukraine and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Until then, may the Lord richly bless you and all your people.

We have very good (strong) worship group. Last Sunday we had a good morning ministry the God’s Spirit moved a lot in worship there was the prophets & healing, few people were born again & a lot of Christians understood their mistakes sins & repented. Praise God. Amen!!!

Pakistan

A request from a pastor in Pakistan:
We are in great need of prayer still. The man who has leased the house to us has been lied to about us by his daughter and our neighbors. We are in persecution. All of this has happened since we started getting leady to leave for Africa (to minister). Everyone here is sick. We need all of the prayers. Brother! I  pray to God, God give you more power of the Holy spirit and your all ministry will be finished in Jesus name and give you peace and sound health your neighbors and his daughter and all sick people there in Africa. We always lift up in our daily prayer and also know that you, your ministry, family, friends are in our heart, mind and thoughts. Please pray for a (Film Projector) that we need to use it when we go out for the proclamation of  the kingdom of heaven, preaching the Gospel among the people those who do not know how to read and write. This way they can easy understand the Gospel and miracles of Jesus Christ and then they accept Him as savior and lord.

India

A pastor in India writes:
Greetings from us...in India. Please read the following few line of our appeal to do some help to some children who are in our love and care. For all the world's children whose lives are filled with hunger and can't understand why, and for all beings who are dedicated to doing something about it. INDIA HAS A POPULATION OF AROUND 1 BILLION PEOPLE, AND IT IS GROWING AT A RATE OF 18 MILLION PER YEAR. MOST PEOPLE ARE HINDU, SOME ARE MUSLIMS AND ONLY 2 TO 3% ARE CHRISTIANS.

When we found out we could not have children of our own we decided to look after some children who are some orphans and destitute in our love, care and protection for their better life in the society. It was not long and we had many children to look after! It is a hard job to try and provide for the needs of a couple of children, let alone many more. We are dedicated, committed and involved in helping the victims of child labor, street children, the neglected and abandoned, the orphans and the poor who live below the poverty line; life in India is tough going. Most children cannot get an education because they have to work with their parents. They are considered as economic value, and sending them to school would mean economic loss. Consequently they remain illiterate, and the poverty cycle continues. Child labor is very common. When families can no longer provide for their children, the children wander looking for food. Many thousands of poor and needy children die every day, the victims of poverty and neglect. Many who escape death carry with them the deep scars of hunger, sickness and abuse.

The exploitation of women continues and the caste system in India is a crippler. Moneylenders are common, using children as virtual slaves. Many children are left to the no mercy of landlords who work them to the bone and rob any childhood from them. Parents struggle hard to survive, but it's made extra difficult by the fixing of low prices on the produce that comes from these already overworked poor farmers.

Our plan is to set up a self-sustainable unit which includes the home and school. This hands-on training unit will provide all necessary resources and income for the children's care, as well as teaching them to be self-supporting. The proposed areas of training will include tailoring, embroidery, typing, motor winding, finding bore wells in fields, real electrification (providing electricity to rural areas) dairy and sheep rearing and carpentry .

Why is God so concerned about the poor? God looks after those who can’t look after themselves. Because the poor cannot look after themselves financially, God looks after them. And if you look after the poor, you are a friend of God’s. None of us measure up to His standards. And God looks on all of us to save us when we quit trying to impress Him with our good works. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:89).

From a pastor in Andhra Pradesh Province:
"Brothers, here the work of God is growing rapidly. We all are doing well and going forward in His vineyard. Our evangelical campaigns are well. Lord blessed our services with a great increase in attendance. Many souls have turned towards Christ and saved through the Gospel we carried to them. God Himself worked a miracle of salvation and strength in their hearts and lives. PRAISE THE LORD! HALLELUJAH!!

OUR MOTTO IS REACHING THE UNREACHED AND TELLING THE UNTOLD, WHO HAD NEVER HEARD OF JESUS AND THE GENERAL SALVATION BOUGHT BY HIS RANSOM SACRIFICE ON CALVARY’S CROSS.

The greatest need for us now is to have Bibles in the Telugu Language for the new converts. We have a big ministry, but are unable to purchase Bibles and Song Books to distribute freely among the poor believers due to financial problems. We do ask that you Pray for us that we will get the Bibles and Song Books. We know that God never fails and He will never ever fail."

A missionary's request regarding India:
It is nice to know about your ministries and your vision. After going through the information you have published on the web, I was led by God to write to you concerning the possibility of extending your ministry to India. At present I and my wife are residing in UK for His mission sake.

Our vision and calling is to reach the unreached millions in India especially the unreached people with the good news of Jesus Christ. God has placed a burden in our hearts to share the Gospel with the lost, and to be an example of the love of Jesus in deeds. In India about 100,000 children die each month from starvation, so, in 1990 we started an orphan home with 7 children in a small rented house. The real miracle is that without sponsors, only Indian faithful friends through their faithful giving, God has enabled us to feed these starving children and lead them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Out of India’s billion population, 85% live in the rural areas. They do not have the opportunity that other people of the world have to hear about Jesus Christ. Hence our primary aim is to make Christ known in the villages of India. Our desire and prayer is that because God has given us time in this life, we should do what ever we can for those who are dead spiritually and those who are physically dying, for Jesus' sake. 17 Full time evangelist missionaries with their families are working in our team. We achieve our vision by using movie and video presentations to create interest in spiritual matters, and regularly visiting homes to teach about Jesus Christ. We provide tracts, booklets, Gospels and Bibles for further understanding of the spiritual truths. We conduct group discussion meetings for those who want to know more and Bible study groups for those who accept the Lord, baptism, and fellowship of believers to plant churches. What a great joy to see the spiritually blind Hindus opening their eyes and seeing the love of God. And it is all because of the blood of Jesus. Praise His name!

We badly need your prayers in order to continue to spread the Gospel where they have never heard about Jesus. It is our bound responsibility to either go or to send someone. I know it is not possible for everyone to come to India, but it is possible to lend your hand for His work. So let us do our part and the Holy Spirit will do His work; we are only tools in the mighty hand of God.

Another pastor in Andhra Pradesh Province writes:
Here the things are going on well, the lord is helping us to reach more people. It is because of your kind prayers. The lord helped us to reach 15 unreached people groups last 2 months, we showed 12 film shows, the lord touched many tribal groups, many gave their lives to Christ, PRAISE GOD FOR THAT!

Kindly pray this prayer request:
1. Please pray that this powerful evangelistic tool film ministry may be used to reap a mightily harvest.
2. Please pray for the people who watch it that the Lord may open of their minds and hearts and they watch the film.
3. Kindly pray that lord will open doors to reach effectively.

It sad to say, the reason why we are not able to reach many people groups it is lack of evangelistic resources and encouragement and co-operation. Kindly pray for it. We desperately in need evangelistic tools. Kindly pray for it.

Message from the wife of a pastor in India:
We received word a pastor whom we love in India had been attacked and severely beaten by militant Hindus. The Hindu Nationalists have long been known for their violent resistance to anything threatening their dominance. Pastor P. was hospitalized and it was determined that his head injuries would require extensive treatment. He recovered and was released from the hospital. His wife has shared this testimony with us.

"Today was a miracle. Five men came visit my husband from another village. First this month they beaten my husband. Prayer hall they burned. They beaten believers. But last week one man's daughter shocked from lightning thunder. She in hospital. Now also unconscious. Another man's house burned from same lightning thunder. Saw this another man's wife became mad. So a Hindu astrologer told go ask God's man forgiveness. So from 130 miles away they came. First they afraid see my husband. They stood outside gate. See them I and children afraid. Because we not knew why they came. Our doubt again they came disturb us. But my husband went to gate said enter home. They all cried. They said sorry. They repent. About Jesus my husband told. Why Jesus crucified my husband told. How Jesus risen he said. Full Gospel he taught. Five hours they with us. They kneel down. They accepted Jesus their Saviour. They said by mouth Jesus only their Saviour. They all saved. To their head my husband put hands prayed. We together prayed. We ate lunch with them. Then they went. Praise God. We happy. God open doors. Glory His name. Again I thank your prayers. My children say greetings. They pray you all.
Your sister of Messiah Jesus love"

Africa

Thanksgiving from brother in Kenya writes:
There is a small victory we want to share with you. The land lord advertised in the local paper the sale of his property where we rent the house. For quite some time there were so many inquirers but it seemed nobody met the conditions. We were praying against this sale fearing that someone may buy and decide to move in thus forcing us to shift to another place. Well, we really dread moving and you know all the inconveniences involved in shifting to another place. Another thing we feared is that when this property change hands, the new landlord may increase the rent for us. Though the rent we pay is actually below what we should normally be paying, it is such a real struggle for us to meet it but God has been faithful.

It seemed that our landlord lost hope in selling the property and we rejoiced that our prayers were answered. However, at the beginning of this month, he came to introduce to us a new landlord. Our hearts sunk. We feared the worst could happen to us. However, when this new landlord came, he said he already have a house and is not interested in moving in. And so we rejoiced that we shall not move elsewhere. Now, he wanted to increase the rent but I told him that it was not wise to do so so soon. He shelved this idea but told me that he would be revisiting it at a later date. We praise God for this move which so far has not negatively affected us. We were not moved neither was the rent raised!

From a pastor in Uganda:
When a forest catches fire both the dry and wet burn up and if trouble comes it overtakes both the guilty and innocent a like. Now almost every where you look see trouble and hopelessness. Sadly, words like famine, drought, war, talk about economy and poverty paint an all too accurate picture of Africa in general. Most countries exist on meager produce on a very tired land that has been farmed for thousand of years. Therefore they are never more than one crop failure a way from starvation and almost always without the most basic of medical care. To those who are sensitive to it, the spiritual need of this region (Africa) is just as real and as apparent. Many have little or no access to the Gospel. Illiteracy, remoteness and religious persecutions all conspire to keep the people of Africa from knowing Jesus Christ.

For what we believe is that God's plan far exceeds what we could accomplish on our own. ( Jeremiah 29:11) explains this. The bible says, we are not people who turn back and are lost, instead, we have faith and saved. Yet to have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain for things we cannot see (Heb. 11). Surely in Africa almost all things are next to impossible, so most things we do with faith. Mathew 18:19 says " And if two of you on earth agree about anything you pray for, it will be done to you. So brother, let us agree on this and name it, for example the Uganda  mission Trip" whose purpose is teaching, evangelize and administration advise. Set a date with in which this could be done and let this be our prayer request.
Evidently, what is impossible for man is possible for God (Matt.19:26 ) For his word will never fail to do what he plans to for it; it will be everything  that he sent it to do. ( Isaiah 55:11). Let us not think that our case is hard for him. Remember he has already provided.

Request and thanksgiving from Benin Republic:
We praised the name of out great God for the great things He is using your group to accomplish world over. I pray that soon this nation will benefit from the gifts too. Thank you very much for all your words of encouragement, they have strengthened me the more. This part of the world is still in bondage of Satan's falsehood and need men and women of valour to walk into the gap and deliver God's people. We shall pray for God's will to be done.

(We are planning crusades throughout our area.) The number of people expected in each service depends on location. We shall expect over 3,000 people in some places and over 10,000 could be in attendance in others. It depends on organization and budget. But I prefer villages and towns (which are also more populated) were most mission groups avoided. Most evangelistic groups concentrate in cities, but neglect the rural areas and villages were so many have not heard or seen the power of Jesus to save from sin, sickness and demonic oppression. I thank God that He has given you a gift of healings and deliverance, our people shall be free, praise God.

In most villages we shall expect more than 1000 in each sitting. We shall also need a leadership conference in more cities and towns to teach church leaders who have deviated from the vision of Jesus and are pursuing after money, fame and fake miracles. Most pastors here are making the Christian life very difficult for both the new and old converts through their lives and attitude. The church here needs revival and direction. I pray that the good Lord will reveal to you the needs in this Voodoo nation and provides for you all to make the trip this year. What is being preached from most pulpits is destructive and lacks the resurrecting power of Jesus in holiness and purity.

Film shows will attract so many in the villages and towns to hear the word. We shall need reading glasses for the vision impaired, bibles for the converts and non converts, medicines, etc. I pray that together we shall reach our people with the unadulterated Word of God. We pray also that you will help to sponsor the outreaches as we have not much, but will help in our own capacity too.

A powerful testimony to God's saving power:
I am 27 years old, and a devoted committed Christian. I knew the Lord five years ago, after the death of my father, who led me to Christ. These villages have been in a platform of an havoc, which of any male child at the age of 27 years must be initiated into the worship of the god of the River, as I declared of these age, I was sent for the cremation ground for the initiation ceremony, but I do not concept the law of the land, as a Christian, and according to the, thou shalt not serve any other gods before me. As I said this to the witch doctor who would do the initiation ceremony, he get angry because I spoke to him with boldness. When it was night he sent seven giant men to bring me to the alter. The next morning I woke to find I had slept on the alter where the god of the River is worshipped. I was dresses in a goat skin and was lying on top of a lion skin. I sat up and my grandfather came to me. When he saw me he fainted. I could do nothing to help him, my grandfather never said anything because he was afraid of the witch doctor, the whole village was afraid of him.

I was one of 22 waiting to be initiated. I could only ask Jesus Christ to help me. They brought an egg that each of us had to stand on as part of the ceremony. I felt something inside me asking, "what are you doing here? Can't you stand up and go away? This place is too dirty." I was the last and thinnest in the group. One by one they stood on top of the egg, it did not break. Then it was my turn to stand on the egg just as all rest had done, but for me the egg broke. The witch doctor was very angry, it was as though he became mad and at that moment God's power came into me. The witch doctor was shouting but I answered him with words from the Bible. I went to the alter, took my clothes, threw the skin off and went home. Every villager, even my grandfather, was afraid of me: No one had ever spoken to the witch doctor like that. At midnight I saw six big men came to take me from my bed down to the river, I tried to escape but they were too powerful for me, I heard the witch doctor say "bring him here". I stood on the sand by the river. Suddenly there was an earthquake and everywhere shook. The witch doctor and all the powerful men fell down, the alter broke into pieces, then everything became normal again and I heard the witch doctor who thought I was dead shout, "take this one away before he kills me, this is the sort of person I don't like dealing with." The big men were afraid to touch me but I told them to take me home, they did and I slept peacefully all night. The next morning news of what happened went around the village. All the boys, those who were going to be initiated, turned away from the witch doctors religion and give their lives for the salvation of Christ, and including the entire village people, trusted and accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord of their life, and the witch doctor embraced Jesus, and gave his life to our Lord Jesus.

I thank God for His manifestation power that were revealed to the people of these village to know the real and mighty God in which they are serving now, all glory be to the father, for all these souls that are saved and rescued from the godless regimes. It was difficult for me to say "no" to the witch doctor, but God showed that He is powerful and will help us when we ask Him.

We are having problem with our Christian faith, because we do not have the bible, the Christian Holy books to read, that gives faith and comfort. We could not able to afford a copy of the bible because we are poor converts. Please man of God, I kindly requested on your assistance for 24 hard cover Holy Bibles, 4 large print references Bibles use or new for the old men and women, and including one for my teaching. These bibles will be distributed to these believers, who love to serve the Lord and study God's holy word to teach and learn us more about God, and to grow them stronger in the faith, and to lead them into a victorious Christian life. To read of God's word bring us faith to perfect His will in our lives.

We are in the end time, it is time we open our mouth wilder and cry aloud and spare not to show His people their transgression, because the second coming of the Lord is at hand, we the saints should give no sleep to fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life to which we also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witness. It is my prayer for God to bring to pass what He is about to do in this village, and for Him to raise His labourers into the harvest and for Him to provide for the provision of the fulfilling of the ministry. The Bible tells us, I send my messenger before thy face, which prepare thy way before thee, the voice of one crying in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord, make His way straight. We greatly need your assistance for bring and to led many souls to Him in these villages, for there are many things to be done for the Lord here.
